గోదావరి
గోదావరి లేక గొల్లు గొల్లు మనే,
నిండు గోదావరిని చూసి గగ్గోలు పెట్టే
గోదావరి అమ్మ లేనిదే, అన్నము లేదురా,
సదా అమ్మ, అందరికీ ఆకలి తీర్చు మాతల్లి....

River Godavari is the mother of Annapurna which is an essential ingredient to feed its children. It is absolutely true that how the mother becomes helpless in the absence of feedstock. Preservation of Godavari water can only quench the primary needs for livelihood. The poem is a suggestion to the concerned. An invaluable eye opener. Very good.
