శ్రావణ మాసము వచ్చే, శారదా గౌరీ పూజలందుకునే
శ్రావణితో శ్రావ్యముగా వేదఘోష మారుమ్రోగే
శ్రావణ గౌరీ ముతైదువులతో ముచ్చటగా వీధి వీధులు అలరించే
శ్రావణ మాసము వచ్చే, శారదా గౌరీ పూజలందుకునే
శ్రావణితో శ్రావ్యముగా వేదఘోష మారుమ్రోగే
శ్రావణ గౌరీ ముతైదువులతో ముచ్చటగా వీధి వీధులు అలరించే
శ్రావణముతో శుభ పండుగలకు వేళ వచ్చే ........
Sravanam - a month owned by women who are busy with parantams every Friday. Recitation of Vedas by Vaideeshians make the environment fresh from evils. The stanzas stand testimony on the beauties of all lanes with the movement of silk worn group of womenfolk. Good narration indeed.
